Thank you, Heather Armstrong, for so eloquently stating how I feel. It would've been much harder for me to write that eleoquent of an entry.

I'm a Democrat because I like people, and believe in people, too much to be a Republican.

I give you the following, Dooce's post from Thursday, from her amazing website www.dooce.com:

Brighter Planet's 350 Challenge

"And the day came when the risk it took to remain closed in a bud became more painful than the risk it took to blossom." ~Anais Nin

If you want to be healthy all you need to do is work out, eat right and shut up and listen to me.
~Jillian Michaels

God's not gonna come out of heaven and do these three pushups for you. Who's gonna do them? You are.
~Jillian Michaels

"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary."
~Steve Jobs

"Your biggest challenge isn't someone else. It's the ache in your lungs and the burning in your legs, and the voice inside you that yells 'CAN'T'. but you don''t listen. You just push harder. And then you hear the voice whisper 'can'. And you discover that the person you thought you were is no match for the one you really are." ~anon.
